The Junior years are when a student stops learning to read and starts reading to learn. Maths stops being arithmetic tricks and becomes structured reasoning. Science stops being colourful pictures and becomes a way of asking questions.
We treat these four years with the seriousness they deserve. Smaller groups, more teacher attention, regular feedback, and a curriculum that pushes, but never panics.
Every Junior class has a daily 30-minute library/silent reading period.
Ten minutes of timed mental maths daily, no calculator, no shortcuts.
Every student speaks in assembly at least twice a year, rotated, not optional.
One major term project per subject, pulling textbook learning into the real world.
We test often, but never to scare. Class III to V follow a continuous assessment pattern, weekly class tests, monthly unit tests, two formal exams a year. Class VI begins the slow ramp toward the senior-school exam culture.
Every test is reviewed in class. Every parent gets a written comment alongside the marksheet, what the child got right, what to work on, and how we'll help.
Mid-year and start-of-year admissions to Junior classes are open subject to seat availability and a placement test.
